Sector 6: International economics
For a small open economy such as the Netherlands, the international arena is vitally important. CPB's International Economics sector conducts studies on international and European policy issues and undertakes scenario studies for the long term. The work is carried out in three programmes: Globalisation, Climate Change and Europe.New

Programs
The International Economics sector has also produced a number of scenario studies. All the programmes make frequent use of the general equilibrium model WorldScan. Beside the sector International economics also the unit International cyclical analysis deals with the international environment of the European economy.
