Pierre Koning is employed as a Program Leader on Public Organization at CPB Netherlands Bureau for Economic Policy Analysis. Pierre has obtained his PhD at the Free University of Amsterdam – with his thesis focussing on job search models for the labor market. His current research includes various empirical analyses on incentives and the organization of public services, like schools, hospitals and police forces. Pierre’s special interest lies in the field of welfare-to-work services – here most of his international publications are also focused on. Pierre is editor of TPEdigitaal and research fellow at IZA, the Institute for the Study of Labor in Bonn (see logo's below!).
