Sector 6: Internationale economie

Voor een kleine open economie als de Nederlandse is de internationale omgeving van groot belang. De sector Internationale Economie verricht beleidsstudies op internationaal gebied en werkt aan scenariostudies voor de lange termijn. Er wordt gewerkt in drie programma's: Europa, Klimaatverandering en Globalisering.

Op de sector Internationale Economie zijn daarnaast een aantal Scenario studies geproduceerd. Door alle programma's heen wordt vaak gebruik gemaakt van het algemeen evenwichtsmodel WorldScan. Naast de sector Internationale Economie houdt vooral de afdeling Internationale conjunctuur zich bezig met de internationale omgeving van de Europese economie.
