CPB World Trade Monitor September 2019
Developments in global international trade and industrial production September 2019:
- World trade volume decreased 1.3% month-on-month (growth was 0.5% in August, unchanged from initial estimate) and growth was 0.5% in 2019Q3 (-0.8% in 2019Q2).
- World trade momentum was 0.5% (non-annualised; -0.3% in August, initial estimate -0.5%).
- World industrial production increased 0.2% month-on-month (having decreased 0.2% in August, initial estimate 0.0%) and growth was -0.1% in 2019Q3 (0.0% in 2019Q2).
- World industrial production momentum was -0.1% (non-annualised; -0.4% in August, initial estimate -0.3%).
The next release of the CPB World Trade Monitor is scheduled for 24 December 2019, 15:00 hours.
